About Our Tackle

We started field testing with glass crystals in the summer of 2013. What we were looking for was a bait more productive than the standard meat rig. What we found was a spinner bait that would out produce any plastic bead harness we ran it against. To our amazement certain combinations would dominate not only when the bite is on but also under flat water/high sun conditions. Now it’s the ONLY BAIT we run on the Reel Rumors Boat from early May through late summer. The evolution continues with custom powder coated blades. All tackle is tied with 20 lb. fluorocarbon 60-inch leaders, two #4 Baitholder Lazer hooks, glass crystal’s and custom powder coated spinner blades.
